These artworks are pigmented epoxy painted on urethane foam supported by galvanized iron screen.

Vinnie's Flowers.  (36x53.5x3")
 This construction inspired by van Gogh's Sunflowers (third version-1888) is hung on a frame of plywood  painted with pigmented epoxy.

"Vinnie's Flowers" and "Starry Nite" were created in 2001 to accompany  the fund raising interactive sculpture, "Vincent Says..."



Vinnie's Doc  (2009  -  43"x38"x4")
 This construction in spired by van Gogh's "Dr. Gachet" (1890) is hung on a frame of plywood  painted with pigmented epoxy.




Wrinkly Rembrandt (2009  -  48"x43"x3")
 This construction is hung on a frame of plywood  painted with pigmented epoxy.


Viewed straight on, Rembrandt's
Self Portrait sits comfortably
 on the bubbly surface.
But viewed from an angle, it's  almost unreadable.

Poor Jacqueline (48"x38"x4")
 This construction is hung on a frame of plywood  painted with pigmented epoxy.

In this recently (2007) stolen Picasso portrait (1961) of his wife, Jacqueline takes her lumps with equanimity.  The unpainted cured foam at right reveals its bubbly surface.
