Ken Mikolowski is a poet teaching at the University of Michigan. Ann Mikolowski was a painter. Both founded the Alternative Press in Detroit's Cass Corridor in the 1960's.
Predictably, they decided to hit the road together. (Sitting on a case of Strohs never hurts one's chances of getting a ride.)
